As an England fan, if you weren’t in Dortmund on Wednesday night then it looks like the second-best place to be was the O2 Arena in London.

The Killers were playing a sold-out show at the 20,000-capacity venue at the same time as the Three Lions’ clash with Netherlands.

But the American band, well-known for their love of all things Anglo, paused their set to show the dying moments of the match on a big screen behind them.

It then led to this absolutely remarkable scene at full time.
