King Charles’s gardens have inspired a new fashion line from a luxury British brand.
The monarch’s Highgrove Gardens have partnered with an iconic fashion house in the UK to launch a new collection of scarves and trench coats.
Burberry’s classic checked lining has been swapped for floral designs inspired by the gardens in Highgrove.
The patterns were created by British artist Holly Mills, a graduate of the Royal Drawing School.

The artist drew the patterns in the peak of summer bloom at the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire.
The designs on four new silk scarves boast a range of vibrant colours from deep purple matched with a royal blue to bright yellow blooms contrasted with a dazzling turquoise.
This collection marks the third partnership between Burberry and Highgrove.
The British fashion house values the partnership with Highgrove because of the steadfast work of Charles’s charity, The King’s Foundation, which was founded by the monarch.

The Highgrove website describes the collection as “crafted from the finest silk the Highgrove Gardens X Burberry scarves boast intricate details of the gardens at Highgrove and will add a touch of luxury to any outfit.”
The luxury trenches come in two colours: a classic cream coat with a bright blue patterned lining and an army-green trench with a bright green and turquoise leaf and flower lining.
The coat is “woven from gabardine, an invention by Thomas Burberry in 1879, at our mill in Keighley and is assembled at a factory in Yorkshire.”
