Recent highlights: On the singles court, Watson’s best result of the year so far came on home soil at the Lexus GB Pro Series Roehampton – finishing runner-up to New Zealand’s Lulu Sun. But on the doubles court, she’s currently surging towards a new career-high ranking. The British doubles No.1 has been a runner-up at the WTA 500 events in Brisbane and Abu Dhabi, as well as a quarter-final in Charleston.
