As part of its business delegation visit to Benghazi from 5 to 7 November, the Libyan British Business Council (LBBC) reports that British companies from pivotal sectors, particularly healthcare and education, will be at the forefront of discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in Libya.

In this regard, the LBBC announced two impactful panel discussions on 6 November:

• Digital Transformation in Libyan Education
• Benghazi Vision 2030 – Healthcare Transformation in the Digital Age

These panels, the LBBC explains, offer a unique platform for British and Libyan leaders in health, education, and the wider business community to exchange insights, explore collaborative opportunities, and shape future-focused visions, with Benghazi positioned as a leading hub for innovation in Libya.

The discussions, it added, will address crucial themes, including:

• To explore the developing role for the private sector in offering health and education services and the steps needed to ensure that such investment meets the needs of their respective sectors
• To raise awareness and enhance the understanding of digital transformation in education and healthcare, providing a comparative view of how other countries have successfully implemented digital solutions, focusing on similarities and strengths
• To give information on funding, investments and partnerships to enable long term growth in local capabilities, to quantify the financial benefits in fragmented systems and share insights into how digital solutions can enhance service delivery and improve quality

Following the panel discussions, attendees and guests are invited to attend a networking reception.
