The hypothesis of the Friedkin’s acquisition of Everton has not yet been entirely shelved. According to Liverpoolecho.com and former Toffees CEO, Keith Wyness, Roma president Dan, could submit an offer for the majority of the English club, rekindling a deal that seemed to have stalled.
Wyness, speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, revealed that there are three groups interested in buying Everton, but no one is yet close to closing the deal. Friedkin, who has already invested £200 million in the club, could therefore play a decisive role in this race.Farhad Moshiri, the current president of Everton, is in fact willing to sell the club.
