The £130m Investment Fund Wales (IFW) has marked its second equity investment with Assured Insights, a data analytics firm, as its recipient. This endeavour is a component of IFW’s broader strategy to catalyse regional economic development through selective investments in promising enterprises.

Assured Insights, headquartered in Stockport with an additional office in Nottingham, is recognised for its DataWorks platform. This solution addresses organisational challenges associated with disparate business systems by unifying siloed data into a single, reliable platform. Esteemed clients such as The Ivy Restaurant Group, Sucden Financial, and Vernon Building Society utilise this technology to enhance their data maturity.

The investment, while undisclosed in value, involves collaborative backing from the British Business Bank’s Midlands Engine Investment Fund, also managed by Foresight since 2018. The strategic placement of Assured Insights’ new office at Tramshed Tech in Cardiff signifies a tangible commitment to the region, poised to generate skilled employment opportunities.
