Katherine Ryan has stunned fans after several eagle-eyed supporters unearthed a snap of her from her first appearance on British TV.
The comedian, 40, is a frequent panelist on a number of well known UK comedy panel shows, has had several comedy specials and even created and starred in her own Netflix show.
But one of her fans spotted her on the BBC all the way back in 2008, when Katherine was just 25 years old and looking very different.
They voiced their shock at Katherine’s unexpected appearance in the audience on the game show 1 vs. 100, presented by Ben Shephard.
Sharing a screenshot of the comedy star sitting in the audience, they tweeted: ‘Obsessed with Katherine Ryan randomly turning up as an audience member in a 2008 episode of 1 vs 100’.

Fans couldn’t help but be shocked by the throwback shot and discovery, with one writing: ‘The investigative journalism I’m all in for.’
The snap showed an almost unrecognisable looking Katherine, sporting dark brunette hair instead of her usual bright blonde locks.
Katherine’s first television appearance was on Canadian music video review show Video on Trial in 2005.
However, she found her first success as a waitress working for Hooters, and moved to the UK to open the chain’s first UK branch in Nottingham.
The same year that Katherine was seen on 1 vs. 100, she won the Funny Women Award and was described as ‘the funniest new female stand up in Britain’.
But she had to wait until 2011 for her first major UK TV appearance, starring on the short-lived Channel 4 sitcom, Campus, as Canadian restructuring guru George Bryan.
She then began to appear as a panellist on comedy shows, starting with Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats in 2012.
She has since starred on a whole host of programmes such as Have I Got News For You, Taskmaster, Mock The Week, Would I Lie To You? and a League Of Their Own.

At 25 years old, the same age as she was in the audience of 1 vs. 100, Katherine also welcomed her first child, daughter Violet, now 14, with ex-boyfriend Alex Edelman.
She now also shares son Fred, two and 14-month-old daughter Fenna Grace with her husband, Bobby Kootstra.
Katherine and Bobby have been together since 2018 but have known each other since they were children, growing up together in Canada.
Childhood sweethearts, the two parted ways initially before rekindling things this side of the Atlantic and gor civil partnership in 2019
Last week, Katherine candidly admitted how her three children have ‘ruined the life she had before’ she became a mother.
She confessed since having kids, she has not been able to continue doing all the things that she had been able to do before, but added that she has build a ‘better’ life.
Speaking to Woman magazine, she said: ‘My children have enriched my life, they’re such a blessing and I would never trade them for anything.
‘But I would be lying if I said they didn’t ruin the life I had before. But I rebuilt a better one and that’s fine.
‘I would be pretending if I said that I could still do all the things that I could before and I think we’re selling this fantasy of what motherhood means if we aren’t honest about that.’
