The Walking Dead‘s upcoming series has found a new home in the UK, with Sky holding the exclusive rights to The Ones Who Live.
The miniseries focusing on the star-crossed love story between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) will be airing on Sky and NOW from May 31. In the US, the show aired on AMC in February.
UK-based fans of the post-apocalyptic franchise will also have the chance to revisit all 11 seasons of the main series on the same platform from May 19. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and The Walking Dead: Dead City will become available on both Sky and NOW later this year.

“The Walking Dead Universe has a huge and ardent UK fanbase and we know audiences on Sky and NOW will be buzzing to see Rick Grimes and Michonne reunited in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, as well as being able to dip into the wider universe, enjoying all 11 seasons of the original The Walking Dead series, as well as new spin-offs Daryl Dixon and Dead City,” Lucy Criddle, Sky Director of Acquisitions and Strategic Projects, commented in a statement.
Mike Pears, executive vice president of distribution and content sales for AMC Networks (owner of AMC+, which airs all TWD titles in the US), celebrated having found a new UK home for the shows.
