Women’s Under-21 player Jhanaie Pierre has been called up to England’s Under-17 squad for their two international friendly fixtures this week.
The young Lionesses’ will face Spain in a double-header as part of preparations for the FIFA Women’s Under-17 World Cup next month in the Dominican Republic, with England in Group C alongside Kenya, Mexico and North Korea.
Jhanaie, who was part of the England Under-17 group last month for a training camp, was named in John Salomon’s 24-player squad on Monday morning.
The young forward, who featured in the opening game of the Professional Game Academy League against Arsenal last month, has been a part of our academy for a number of years and has progressed to our Under-21s squad for the 2024/25 campaign.
